The Journey

Have Courage, This Will All Work Out

Have Courage, This Will All Work Out

There are days when you begin to suspect that this is the beginning of the apocalypse.

Days when it feels like the roads are all closed.

Days when you’ve been fighting your hardest to keep up with the whackness.

Days when enough things have happened and now all you can hear are the small fry in your head telling you, just lay down and let the zombies take you already!

Have Courage, This Will All Work Out

Maybe you feel this situation has gone on long enough and you’re ready to quit.

But please don’t give up.

You can do this.

You are courageous

This will be okay.

Have Courage, This Will All Work Out

Let’s share a breath and grab some perspective:

It takes courage to put yourself out there, showing up day after day in the way that you do.

Courage to brush off the dirt after a knockdown and get back in there.

Courage to honor your boundaries and say what needs to be said.

Courage to not take things personally. Even when the crap is hot and it’s being flinged in your direction. Even when there is no convincing the flinger to stop.

It takes courage and resilience to stand strong in your knowing, and trust your own path.

Even when everyone is headed the other way.

Even when you’re criticized for being a weirdo.

Have Courage, This Will All Work Out

You have that kind of courage in spades.

You are courageous.

This will be okay.

The way you’re feeling? It’s just the sign that you’ve been doing your work.

Not every moment feels hunky dory…but that doesn’t mean all is lost.

It takes courage to address the things that are hard and scary to address.

Courage when it just seems easier to smile real big and slap a spiritual bumper-sticker on the thing.

Courage to look at what this situation is offering you for your own growth.

Courage to let yourself out of the toxic cycle of resentment.

To remember life is short and choose to spend your time courageously. Again and again.

It often takes a bigger boat and some bigger balls.

Good thing you have these too.

Because all this stuff happening is the sign–the way you’re feeling is an indicator: You are leveling up.

Don’t greet this as a failure just because it feels shitty.

It takes courage to ask, how is this happening for me? and then do what needs to be done.

But then again, this is you we’re talking about…and we both know what a little Ass Kicker of Light you are.

So just in-case the apocalypse really is happening today, let me say this loud and clear:

The Zombies cannot have us yet.

Have courage, my friend, this will all work out.

There will be no laying down.

Yes, some crazy things are happening. Stop taking it all so seriously. Stop making it all so important. Keep the perspective that all is well. Because really it is.

Good thing you are courageous. And a little Ass-Kicker of Light.
